Prompt

Model: GPT-5.4 Image. Create ONE full-color Japanese shonen battle manga page. Style: Japanese shonen manga in full color; bold, confident black ink linework with varied line weight; vivid cel-shaded coloring with soft gradients; dynamic camera angles, speed lines and impact effects; expressive faces. The palette shifts from bright to ominous: dark clouds, black ink, crimson accents. Format: single portrait page, 2:3 (1024x1536), clean white gutters between panels. Reading order: left-to-right, top-to-bottom (Western comics). Lettering: all dialogue in English inside white speech balloons with clean black comic lettering, spelled exactly as written. Sound effects in bold stylized English letters. Do not add any other text, Japanese text, page numbers, or watermarks. Setting: DUSTON, a tiny rustic farming village of wooden cottages with straw roofs, a wooden fence, and a big old oak tree. Characters (keep designs exactly as described): - YAMATO: 15-year-old boy, lean athletic build, spiky orange-red hair sticking up, bright amber eyes, small bandage on his left cheek; patched, tattered red hooded cloak over a sleeveless dark-brown tunic, beige cropped trousers, cloth-wrapped forearms, worn brown boots; cheap wooden sword with a cracked blade and a cloth-taped hilt. - REMY QUILL: 16-year-old boy, slim and lanky, wavy chestnut-brown shoulder-length hair, green eyes, freckles; green wide-brimmed bard hat with a long white quill feather, short teal jacket with gold buttons over a cream shirt, dark green trousers, small wooden lute on his back. - INSPECTOR GRELL: thin middle-aged man, pale face, sharp nose, sneering mouth, monocle; long black coat with parchment-colored trim and crimson ink stains, tall black top hat; holds a giant black quill like a scepter. - BLOT BEAST: a house-sized four-legged beast made of dripping glossy black ink, with glowing crimson slit eyes and no other facial features. Panel layout (4 panels): Panel 1 (top, full width): The sky over the village suddenly darkens with swirling black clouds. Fat black drops rain down. YAMATO and REMY look up from under the oak tree. SFX: "DRIP... DRIP..." YAMATO: "Huh? Black rain...?" Panel 2 (middle left): Close-up of REMY, his face turning pale with horror, an ink drop on his cheek. REMY: "No... That's ink." Panel 3 (middle right): The BLOT BEAST crashes down at the village gate from the black clouds, splashing ink everywhere. INSPECTOR GRELL stands on the beast's head. SFX: "THOOOM!!" Panel 4 (bottom, full width): Low-angle shot of GRELL on the beast's head, unrolling a long scroll with a crimson wax seal, sneering down at the village. GRELL (balloon 1): "By order of the Chronicle..." GRELL (balloon 2): "The village of Duston is hereby... erased."
