HeyAskr terms of use._

heyaskr.ai and the service on it are operated by the team behind HeyAskr, contactable at ask@heyaskr.ai. In these terms, we and us mean that team, and you means the person using the site.

Using the site means you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use it. Opening an account and adding credit means you accept them as they stand on the day you do it.

We have not published a registered company name and address. Until we do, and we will say so on this page when it happens, you are dealing with the operators named above and nothing in these terms cuts down the consumer protections of the country you live in.

HeyAskr is early. Being clear about the gap matters more to us than looking further along than we are.

• Working today: the public information pages, the model catalog, the calculators, email accounts, crypto and card funding, a credit balance, and a workspace with text chat, image generation and video generation. An API at /v1 with your own keys gives your own software the same chat models, including the ones that answer with images, and a command line tool that signs in with your account. askr Community is live too: a public room where anyone can read, and anyone with an @ and a linked wallet can speak and ask askr, paid for by the room. Everything you use from your own account is metered against one balance.
• Kept for you: the images and video clips you generate are stored on your account, with the prompt that made them, and shown in your library on every device you sign in from. The text of a conversation is not stored on our side. It stays in the browser you typed it in.
• Not working today: audio models, file uploads, team or shared accounts, video through the API, and withdrawals of any kind. Where the catalog lists a model the workspace or the API cannot run, the entry is reference information about the wider market, not a capability you can use here.
• We are one person’s width away from a support desk. Expect email, not a phone line.

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. If you accept these terms for an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.

You must not be located in, resident in, or acting for a person or country subject to sanctions or trade restrictions that make it unlawful for us to deal with you. Whether using AI services and cryptocurrency is lawful where you are is your responsibility to check, not ours.

Where the law requires it, we may have to refuse an account, freeze a balance, or decline to credit a payment. We would rather say that here than surprise you with it.

An account is an email address, and access to it is by a code we mail you. Keep control of that inbox: anyone who can read it can sign in as you and spend your credit. Tell us at once if you think that has happened.

One account per person. Do not share access, and do not open extra accounts to get around a limit or a suspension.

You can close your account whenever you like by emailing us. Because credit is spend only, closing an account with credit on it gives that credit up. Spend it first. Closing the account also deletes the images and clips in your library.

The privacy notice sets out exactly what an account holds and what we do with it.

You can create keys to use the models from your own software. A key is a credential that spends your balance, and anyone holding it can spend it: keep it out of anything you publish or commit, and revoke it in your wallet the moment you think it has escaped.

Usage through a key is yours. Requests made with it are charged to your balance whether you made them or something you wrote made them, and a script that repeats itself can spend a great deal very quickly. Setting a daily cap on a key is the control we give you for that, and we would rather you used it than found out the other way.

We show a key once and store only a hash of it, so we cannot recover one for you. If it is lost, revoke it and make another.

We may revoke a key ourselves where we reasonably believe it has been compromised, is being used to break the acceptable use rules below, or is doing something that threatens the service for other people.

You keep whatever rights you already have in the text you submit. You give us permission to transmit it for the single purpose of getting you a response, and to keep the prompt behind an image or a clip alongside that image or clip in your library.

Your message is sent to the model gateway we use, and onward to the company that operates the model you chose. Their acceptable use rules apply to you as well as ours, and either of them can refuse, block or filter a request. See the privacy notice for exactly what is sent and what is kept.

Do not submit anything you are not free to disclose: credentials, secrets, personal data about other people, regulated records or material under an NDA.

AI output can be incomplete, out of date, biased or simply invented, including citations, quotations and numbers that look convincing. It is not professional advice of any kind. You are responsible for checking output before you act on it or publish it.

We claim no rights in the output you receive, including the images and clips in your library. We also cannot promise it is original or free of third party rights, and the legal position on that differs by provider and by country.

We keep the images and clips you generate so that they survive a reload and follow you between devices. We do not promise to keep them forever: if we have to remove something, because of a legal demand or because it breaks the acceptable use rules, we will. A render that fails is not charged. If a finished render is lost on our side, the remedy is a rerun at our cost, not damages.

Do not rely on output where an error would cause real harm, including medical, legal, financial and safety critical uses, without review by a qualified human.

Every price, conversion, network fee, saving and token estimate on this site is indicative. Crypto rates come from public market feeds and move constantly. Network fees are estimates derived from public blockchain endpoints. Model prices come from the upstream gateway catalog and can change without notice.

Figures shown are not a quote, not an offer and not financial, tax, investment or legal advice. If you find a figure that is wrong, send it to ask@heyaskr.ai with the page URL and we will correct it.

There are two ways to add credit: send cryptocurrency, or pay by card through Stripe, where the purchase is sold through Link. Credit bought either way buys model usage and nothing else. The rules below cover a crypto deposit. A card purchase follows the card purchases clause after this one, and where the two differ, that clause decides for card credit.

With crypto, you send cryptocurrency to an address issued for that one deposit. The assets we accept are the ones shown on your wallet page at the time, read live from our payment processor, and a deposit is between $5 and $10,000. One dollar that arrives buys 1,000 credits. Credit is then spent as you use models, priced at what the request actually cost us upstream, and the amount is shown against each request in your wallet.

The address is issued by the crypto payment processor we use. Your payment lands in our balance with them, and from there we send the part that backs your credit on to the model gateway that runs the models. What is credited to you follows what arrives, not what was quoted: the processor takes a small percentage for the payment and the conversion, at the moment about one percent, and the credit you receive is for the amount left after it.

• A deposit address is issued to you, for that deposit. Do not reuse an old address and do not send to an address anyone gave you anywhere other than your signed in wallet page.
• Send the asset on the network we name. Funds sent as the wrong asset, or on an unsupported network, or to a wrong address, are usually unrecoverable, and we cannot recover them for you.
• Crypto transfers are irreversible. Once a transaction confirms on chain, neither you nor we can reverse it, and there is no chargeback.
• Network fees are yours and are not credited, so send the quoted amount on top of whatever your wallet charges to send it.
• The rate is the one quoted when the payment is created, not the rate displayed earlier and not the rate when it confirms.
• A deposit address is good for a limited time, shown as a countdown next to it. Send within that window. Anything arriving after it may not reach your balance, and we may not be able to recover it.
• Send the exact amount quoted. A payment short of it does not settle, so it does not credit.
• Credit does not expire, earns nothing, and is not a claim on us for money.

We charge no platform fee on usage today: a credit buys the same amount of model work it cost us. If that changes, the change will be announced on this page before it applies, and it will never apply to credit you have already spent. A video render shows its exact price before you start it and puts that amount on hold until the render finishes. If the render fails, the hold is released and nothing is charged.

Credit is spend only, and most of it can be sent. Credit buys model usage. It cannot be withdrawn or converted back into cryptocurrency or cash, by you or by anyone you send it to, and nothing in the product does so. What you are buying is prepaid access to model usage, not a wallet we hold for you and not a deposit we owe you. From 23 September 2026 you can send credit you bought with crypto or were given to another askr account from your balance page, within the minimum and the confirmation steps shown there; card credit, promotional credit and any holder discount cannot be sent. A send is final once you confirm it, and the recipient cannot decline it. If a send was made by mistake, or by someone who was not you, tell us at once: we can reverse it on request where the credit is still there to reverse, and a reversal corrects two balances and nothing more. Sending credit changes whose balance it sits on and nothing else.

Card purchases are sold through Link, Stripe’s checkout and customer brand, which acts as the merchant of record: Link sells the purchase on our behalf and takes the payment, and Link’s terms govern the payment. We supply the credits, and these terms govern them. You enter your card details on Stripe’s payment page, not ours, and we never see them. Your receipt comes from Link, and the charge shows on your card statement as LINK.COM* HEYASKR.AI. A card purchase must be within the smallest and largest amounts shown on your balance page. Prices include any tax that applies, so the price you pick is what you pay, and one dollar of the price buys 1,000 credits. These rules apply to every card purchase, on top of the funding clause above.

• What you buy. Card credit is prepaid AI usage: credit on your askr balance that buys model requests and nothing else. It is supplied immediately. It lands on your balance as soon as Stripe confirms the payment, and you can spend it straight away.
• You ask for it now, so you cannot cancel once it is supplied. If you are a consumer in the UK or the EU, the law usually gives you 14 days to cancel a purchase made online. Card credit is digital content supplied at once, and for digital content that right ends when supply starts, provided you asked for supply to start straight away and acknowledged that you would lose the right to cancel. You do both in askr’s checkout step, before you pay: you tick a box to say you want the credits added to your account straight away and understand that you cannot cancel once they are on your balance, and you cannot go on to pay without it. Stripe’s payment page then asks you to accept these terms, and once the credit is supplied we email you a confirmation. So once card credit is on your balance, we do not refund the purchase. This is about the right to cancel only. Your other rights as a consumer, including your rights if what we supply is faulty, are not affected.
• Card credit cannot be sent. It stays on the account that bought it. It cannot be sent to another askr account, and a send that would need it is refused. Like all credit, it cannot be withdrawn or converted into cryptocurrency or cash.
• Spent credit is not refundable. We do not refund credit spent on model requests, to the card or in any other way, because we have already paid the provider for that usage.
• If Link or Stripe refunds a payment. As the seller, Link may refund a payment under its own terms, including where the law gives you a cooling-off right. If Link or Stripe refunds a card payment, in full or in part, we take back up to the credits the refunded amount bought from the card credits on your balance, and whatever that leaves uncovered is owed to us. Until it is paid, the account cannot run models or send credits.
• A failed run is refunded in credits. Where a run fails and the charging rules say it is not charged, what it held comes back to your balance as credits. Any other correction we make to a charge is also made in credits. Neither goes back to your card.
• Chargebacks and disputes. Asking your bank or card issuer to reverse a payment for credit that was supplied and used, by a chargeback or any other dispute, is a breach of these terms. We contest it, with the account’s usage record as evidence: the purchase, your agreement at checkout, and the requests the account made after it. If a payment was taken without your permission, tell your card issuer, and tell us too.
• What a dispute does to the account. While a dispute on one of your card payments is open, the account cannot send credits. If the dispute is decided against us, up to the credits that payment bought are taken back from the card credits on your balance, and whatever that leaves uncovered is owed to us. Until it is paid, the account cannot run models or send credits.
• Fraud. We may refuse a card payment, freeze the credit it bought, or reverse the purchase where we suspect fraud. Reversing it means having the payment refunded, and the refund rule above then applies to the credit it bought.

The short version: credit already spent cannot come back, and unspent credit is not designed to.

• Credit already spent on model requests is not refundable, because we have already paid the provider for that usage.
• Unspent credit is not refundable as a matter of course. It is prepaid usage, not a balance we hold for you.
• We do not refund a card purchase once its credit is supplied, as the card purchases clause says. Link, as the seller, may refund a payment under its own terms. Whoever refunds a card payment, Link, Stripe or us, up to the credits the refunded amount bought are taken back from the card credits on your balance, and anything already spent is owed, as the card purchases clause says.
• Where we are at fault, we will put it right. If a request was charged twice, charged for a reply you never received, or priced wrongly, tell us and we will correct your balance. That correction is made in credit.
• Where we close or suspend your account for a reason that is not your fault, we will discuss returning the unspent portion with you.
• We may decline a refund where we reasonably suspect fraud, sanctions evasion or abuse of the service, or where the law requires us to.

Nothing in this section removes rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived by contract. If you live somewhere that gives you a statutory right to cancel and be repaid, that right stands over anything above, and you should email us to use it. Because we pay the upstream provider the moment you send a request, using the service is what consumes that right in respect of the credit you have already spent. For card credit, the card purchases clause says when that right ends, and Link, as the seller of the payment, applies a cooling-off period where the law requires one.

Do not use the service to break the law or help anyone else do it, to harm, harass or deceive people, to produce sexual content involving minors, or to produce material designed to cause serious harm. That applies to images and video as much as to text: no sexual imagery of minors, no imagery designed to deceive people about a real person, and nothing made to incite violence.

Do not infringe intellectual property or privacy rights, work around model safety systems or our rate limits, scrape the site, or resell or re-expose the gateway as your own product.

Do not probe, load test or attack the site or the systems behind it. Do not attempt to spend credit you do not have, or to interfere with metering, billing or the ledger.

We can suspend or end your access immediately where we reasonably believe this section is being broken, or where an upstream provider requires it. Where we do that for a serious breach, unspent credit may be forfeited and the library may be removed.

askr Community is one public room at heyaskr.ai/community. Anyone can read it. To speak you need an account with an @ and a wallet linked to it, and one account per person applies there as everywhere. What you post is shown to everyone under your @ and kept, and anyone can read, quote or copy it. The privacy notice says what is public and what a deletion does; the docs say how the room works. The rules of the room, in plain words:

• No scams, and no pretending to be askr, the askr team, support, a mod or anyone else. The team is marked by the server, not by a name, and askr never messages anyone first. Support is @askrsupportbot on Telegram and nowhere else.
• Never ask anyone for a seed phrase, a private key, a password, funds or a wallet verification, and never post a deposit address or a contract address as askr’s. The one ASKR contract is the one the room’s own rules name.
• Links: no invites to other chats, no link shorteners, no hosts that imitate askr, and no links at all for the first day after you link a wallet. Announcements carry only askr’s own links. X posts takes links to posts on X and nothing else.
• No floods. The room limits lines per second and per minute, refuses repeats and mass @s, and can slow a topic. No spam, no advertising, no paid promotion of anything, and no bots; nobody is paid or rewarded for posting.
• No abuse, harassment or hate. The acceptable use clause above applies to every line and to everything you ask askr to write, draw or render in the room.

Moderation. askr’s admins and mods may delete any line, mute an account for an hour, a day or until lifted, ban it, and with a ban delete its lines from the last 24 hours; they may pin lines, slow a topic and, in an attack, put the whole room into raid mode. They act on what they see, without warning, and every action is recorded. A serious breach can also end your account under the acceptable use clause. Appeals go to @askrsupportbot, not to the room, and a decision stands until the team changes it.

askr in the room. Where askr answers, the answer is model output and the clause on model output above applies to it: check it before you act on it. The room pays for those answers from a balance we grant it, under daily caps for the room and for each person that we set and can change at any time. We can rest askr in the room, close a topic or close the room at any time, and we promise no answer and no uptime. It costs you nothing and it gives you nothing to hold: no credit, no claim, no right to a turn.

Your lines. You keep whatever rights you have in what you post. You give us permission to show it to everyone in the room, to keep it, to send a line that asks askr to the model gateway, and to remove it. You can delete your own lines; a deleted line leaves the room but stays marked in our records, as the privacy notice says. Nothing in the room is advice: not askr’s answers, not the buy feed, which shows public chain data with an indicative dollar value at the time, and not anyone’s line about a price.

The private chat beside the room is an ordinary chat on your account, paid from your balance, and these terms apply to it as they do to the workspace.

The service is provided as it is and as it is available. We do not promise uptime, that any particular model stays in the catalog, that a model behaves the way it did yesterday, or that any of it is fit for your purpose.

Models, prices, features and this site can change or be withdrawn at any time. A catalog entry is information, not a commitment to supply. We can change what a credit buys as upstream prices change; we will not change what a credit costs to buy retrospectively.

We depend on the model gateway, the model providers, the payment processors, public blockchain endpoints and market data feeds. When they fail, the parts of the site that rely on them fail with them. If the service closes down, we will give notice on this site and let you spend what you are holding and download what you have made.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profit, lost revenue, lost or corrupted data, business interruption, or any indirect or consequential loss. Nor are we liable for decisions you make based on model output or on the estimates shown here, for cryptocurrency lost through a transfer you sent to a wrong address or network, or for failures of the model gateway, a model provider, a payment processor, a blockchain or a market data feed.

Where we are liable, our total liability for all claims connected to the service is capped at what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

If a third party brings a claim against us because of what you submitted, what you generated, or how you used the output, you will cover the reasonable costs of dealing with it, unless the claim arises from our own breach of these terms.

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Where local law does not allow one of the exclusions above, that exclusion applies only as far as the law allows.

A governing law and jurisdiction clause is published together with the company details. We have not published either yet, and we would rather say that plainly than name a jurisdiction we have not settled.

If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in, and you can bring proceedings there.

Before anyone goes to court, email ask@heyaskr.ai with the detail. We will try to resolve it within 30 days.

We can change these terms. The date at the top moves when we do, and where a change is material, in particular to funding, refunds or liability, we will say so plainly on this page. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the new version.

What changed on 24 September 2026: card payments through Stripe were added, sold through Link, Stripe’s merchant of record, whose terms govern the payment. The funding clause now covers two ways to pay. A new clause on card purchases says that card credit is supplied at once, that you ask for that in askr’s checkout step and cannot cancel once it is supplied, that it cannot be sent, that spent credit is not refundable and a failed run is refunded in credits, what a refund by Link or Stripe, a chargeback or a dispute does, and that we may refuse, freeze or reverse a card purchase we suspect is fraud. It names the receipt from Link and the statement line LINK.COM* HEYASKR.AI. The refunds clause points to it. The send rules no longer mention daily limits, which were removed on 24 September 2026.

What changed on 23 September 2026: the funding clause now covers sending credit to another askr account: sends are final, we can reverse a mistaken or fraudulent send on request, and credit still cannot be withdrawn or converted to cryptocurrency or cash.

What changed on 23 September 2026: askr Community was added, with the rules of the room, what moderation can do, and what askr’s answers in the room are and what they cost you; the service clause names the room; the funding clause now covers sending credit to another askr account: sends are final, we can reverse a mistaken or fraudulent send on request, and credit still cannot be redeemed for money.

What changed on 15 September 2026: the service clause now covers image and video generation, the library and the API; a clause on what you make was added; the funding clause names the payment processor, the live asset list, the deposit limits, the processor’s percentage and the absence of a platform fee; video holds are explained.

If a clause turns out to be unenforceable, the rest of these terms still stand. We may transfer these terms to a company that takes over the business. You may not transfer them without our agreement. These terms are the whole agreement between us about the site and replace any earlier version.
