Send credits

1. Open Settings, then CreditsUnder Activity, tap Send credits to someone.
2. Type their @Check it is them: the name shows before you send.
3. Enter an amountSendable now shows the most you can send.
4. SendThe credits are theirs the moment it goes through, and you both get a receipt. A send above $5.00 asks for a code we email you first; an account with no email skips this step.

• At least $0.10. There is no upper limit.
• Credits from a crypto top-up can be sent after a day.
• Credits bought by card, free credits and bonus credits stay with you.
• Sends are final. Sent to the wrong @, or see a send you did not make? Message support with the reference on the receipt: askr can reverse a mistake or a fraud.
• Sent credits are still credits: they buy AI on askr and cannot be turned into cash or crypto.

Your @ and your link

Every account has an @. It is your name on askr and your referral code. An account made with an email or a wallet picks its @ in Settings, Account.

Your link is heyaskr.ai/r/ followed by your @, and it is under Invite friends in Settings, Account. Share it, and anyone who signs up through it within 30 days is your referral. If someone opened more than one link, the one they sign up through counts, or else the first one they opened. A public chat of yours works as a link too.

What a referral pays

Your share

20% of askr's fee on the AI the people you referred pay for from their own balance. The fee is 5% of what the AI costs, so AI that costs them $100 brings you $1. They pay nothing extra: your share comes out of askr's fee.

When it is paid

In credits, added to your balance every hour once it comes to a tenth of a cent. Settings, Account shows what you have earned under Invite friends.

What does not count

What money added to a chat pays for, and anything with no fee in it, such as a web search or a top-up. Free credits that run out on a date, such as an airdrop, are spent first and count against askr's fee first: on a request they pay part of, you get 20% of what is left of the fee, and nothing if they cover the whole fee. A holder's discount comes off the fee first too, so someone who pays no fee brings no share.

Top-ups

The first top-up of $5 or more by someone you referred, by crypto, any coin or card, gives you 10% of it as bonus credits, up to $5 for that person and $100 in all. Bonus credits pay for AI, and cannot be sent or buy on Explore. If that card payment is refunded, or a dispute on it is lost, what is left of the gift is taken back. Other top-ups give nothing: the 10% of every top-up ended when askr's fee began on 9 October 2026.

Limit

None on the share of the fee: as many people as you bring, for as long as you and they both have accounts. The gifts for first top-ups stop at $100 in all.

Referring your own accounts, or accounts made only to earn the share, is abuse: what they earned is taken back and the accounts closed. The rules in full are in the terms.
